Summertime Stripers On Lanier

Finally made it out to fish this afternoon after a week plus off the water!  I found the stripers to be deep, and even got on a big school of fish!  They were not that hungry but I did get some bites.  Lost a tremendous fish to trees and ended up with one good fish in the yak in the 13-14 pound range.  Fish were hitting the downlines between 40-60 feet over a 90-100 foot bottom.  Hope to get back out soon!
