Bassin on Lake Lathem

Decided to stay away from the crowds on Lanier today and hit Lake Lathem in Cherokee county for a few bass. It was a nice relaxing day on the water with plenty of fish! Nothing big though, tons of small fish.  This lake is very "bassy" looking.  Filled with standing timber and deep drop-offs.  Today I got on two patterns, one was small bass with jigs.  The other was an un-weighted trick worm worked right in the standing timber.  Lost one good keeper that would have gone 1.5-2.  Will be back to fish this lake in the spring.  Was a nice day on the water!
